Mark Peterson: Chair
Mark joined the TRCF board of directors in 2017 and serves on multiple committees. He works for Great River Energy in the Systems Operations department. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time fishing, golfing, and camping.
Peter Onstad: Vice Chair and Treasurer
Peter Onstad joined the TRCF Board in 2017. He is the Director of Retail Banking for The Bank of Elk River and an active volunteer who is passionate about giving back to the community. Peter serves on Fund Development, Golf, and IPA Festival committees within TRCF. He and his wife Sarah have two children, Lilly and Gunnar. Outside of work Peter is actively involved in his children’s sports and serves on athletic booster clubs. In his free time, Peter enjoys the outdoors and loves to spend his time on Minnesota lakes and on the golf course.
Dustin Norton: Vice Chair Elect
Dustin Norton joined the TRCF board in 2019 as a way to continue giving back to his hometown. Dustin grew up in Elk River and graduated from Elk River High School before getting a degree in communications from St. Cloud State University. Dustin currently works at Metal Craft in Elk River in the Business Development group. He was a committee co-chair for Hockey Day Minnesota in Elk River and currently serves on the Elk River Chamber of Commerce Shiver Elk River Committee. Outside of work, Dustin enjoys spending time up north at the lake with his wife Sierra as well as hunting and fishing.
Jessica Schaffer, Secretary (Otsego)
Jessica Schaffer grew up in Mankato, and after graduating from MSU-Mankato with a degree in Child Development and Family Studies, she moved to Otsego in 2014, and works as the Community Program Director for the Elk River YMCA. She is passionate about the community, volunteering on the Gifts Anonymous board, SHIVER Elk River Steering Committee, and as Secretary for the Otsego Lions. She joined the TRCF in 2019, as secretary and also serves on the Marketing and Grants & Scholarships committees. When she is not volunteering, Jessica enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Jason Hoskins: Past Chair (Elk River)
Jason joined the TRCF board of directors in 2015 after serving a year on the Grant committee as a non-board member. He is the chief operations officer for Ulteig Engineers. Jason also serves on the Elk River Energy City Commission and the IEEE/PES Scholarship Plus Selection Committee. He and his wife, Stacie, have two children: Eric and Amy.

Margie MacLachlan (Rogers)
Margie grew up in Rogers and graduated from Elk River High School before earning a Journalism degree at the University of Minnesota. For the past 18 years, she was CEO and co-founder of Tartan Marketing, a business-to-business marketing and brand agency that served clients including Cargill, Ecolab, Great River Energy, U.S. Bank, Polaris and more. In 2018, the agency merged with Bolin Marketing, where Margie continues to provide content strategy for clients. She joined the TRCF Board of Directors in 2018.
Ellie Christian (Otsego)
Ellie Christian is a local Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Integrity NW. Her grandfather was a founding member of the TRCF, and she was often involved in his fundraising activities growing up. He inspired her servant heart. Ellie is on the Board of Directors for the TRCF and has served on the Golf Tournament committee for many years. She is also a charter member and serves on the Otsego Lions Club. An Elk River graduate, Ellie currently lives in Otsego.
Kyle Granning (Elk River)
Kyle Granning, an aspiring leader both personally and professionally, joined the TRCF board in 2018. He and his wife Megan are long-time Elk River natives. Both graduated from Elk River High School and currently work and live in Elk River. They have two young children, Mila & Gaborik. Kyle works at Sportech as an Inside Sales Representative. His hobbies include golfing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Michelle Eder (Elk River)
Michelle Eder is a distinguished mortgage professional based in Elk River, MN and has 20+ years of experience helping clients finance the purchase or refinance of their home. She lives in Elk River with her husband Rick, has a daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren. She is very involved with her community and serves on the Board of Three Rivers Community Foundation, City of Elk River HRA and the City of Elk River Finance Committee.
Callie Koehler (Nowthen)
Callie Koehler is an experienced local Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Sports Chiropractic Physician at Power Within Chiropractic of Elk River. She joined the TRCF board in 2020. She previously has volunteered on TRCF’s Golf and Pond Hockey committees. Her husband, Jake, and his family are life-long Elk River natives. She is excited to have moved back to her husband’s hometown and settle down to raise her family in such a great area. Callie and her husband have one young son, Kellen. She is excited to be a part of such a great organization that serves and gives back to the community.
Chad Christian (Otsego)
Chad grew up in Rogers and has been involved in the community his entire life. His grandfather was one of the founding Board Members of TRCF and instilled in Chad the value of giving back to his community. Chad is a past board member for TRCF and is back for another term because he sees the true impact the organization makes. Chad is also the Charter President of the Otsego Lions Club and a “Helen Keller Sight Award” recipient from Lions Club International. He resides in Otsego and has worked in Rogers at Christian Builders & Remodelers since 2012. Chad enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing in his spare time.
Mike Schoemer (St. Michael)
Mike Schoemer was elected to the TRCF Board in 2019. An active volunteer, he also has served on the board of Shop St. Michael-Albertville, STMA United Soccer Association and Monticello Rotary. A 20-year journalist, Mike is now in his fifth year as a communications specialist at ISD 728. He lives in St. Michael with his wife, Jenn and their three children, where he also coaches soccer.
Robin Skinner: Past Chair (Otsego)
Robin is a retail branch manager for Central Bank and joined TRCF in 2015. Robin is passionate about volunteering in the community and also volunteers or serves on several other boards including: Elk River Rotary (Treasurer, Taste of Elk River committee chair, past Secretary), Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce (Shiver Elk River hockey tournament co-chair), Meals on Wheels, Family Promise, Hockey Day Minnesota steering committee, and many Elk River High School booster clubs.
